New vs Used Containers
Choose condition based on appearance, remaining life, budget and intended use.

Short answer
New or one-trip containers generally have less wear and are easier to finish to a premium standard. Used containers may cost less, but condition varies and inspection is essential.
For storage
A structurally sound used unit may be suitable when appearance is secondary. Check doors, seals, floor, roof, corrosion and evidence of repairs.
For conversion
A cleaner shell can reduce repair and preparation work. Compare the purchase saving against cleaning, rust treatment, panel repair and finish requirements.
